If you're interesed in some subtle propaganda.

Bob Stauffer @Bob_Stauffer

Cammalleri-RNH-Aberg
Lucic-McDavid-Draisaitl
Puljujarvi-Strome-Slepyshev
Pakarinen-Khaira-Kassian

Caggiula extra forward

Bob trying to make it look like Lucic isn't glued to the "1st" line still.

Imagine last off season that you were presented this forward lineup and were told this is the Oilers roster after next season’s trade deadline. This is after the playoff run, you’re handed a sheet with this lineup. I wrote it before the season started, I’ll dig up my quote but this off season was a disaster. Disaster.

In my few posts leading up to the season I was on the ‘we’re no making playoffs’ side of the coin. However, I did not think this far of a step back would have been taken. Nor had I ever believed we’d have the lineup we have now.

Super pumped that Nuge is back. Come on you Oilers, get this W.

Would LOVE to see Puljujarvi and Aberg on Nuge’s Wings. Though with the Trade Deadline coming up I can see the value of having Cammalleri on Nuge’s wing.

Peter, is that you?

How could one doubt the braintrust of 6 Cups Kevin Lowe, MacT's E-MBA from Queens, Paul Coffey's skills coach resume, and drunk Gretzky?

We’re just trying to get Cammy going. He’s had some bad luck and unfortunately hasn’t scored since before Christmas, on December 21 against the blues. He’s feeling a little blue. So we’re trying to get him going.

Interesting... Lucic’ last goal was Dec 23, against Montreal. Cammalleri last scored December 21. Perhaps Puljujarvi will start to earn top 6 time when he doesn’t score for near 30 games.

Pretty sure that would be popcorn time for Pulju. And at most ~10 mins a night when he did get to play to try to get things back on track. And if he did, I'm sure McLellan will be happy to take all the credit.

Oh absolutely, he’d be watching from the PB eating his pizza. I don’t get it. Especially at this point in the season. Give him the chance to build chemistry with McDavid or at the very least Nuge. Give him the opportunity on that first pp unit. I don’t understand McLellan’s usage of Puljujarvi.

Leafs game started an hour late, Oilers game starts 30 mins late, so I'm guessing I don't even try to tune in until 9:05 because it won't even be on.

No Cups

Will the short sighted, stubborn coaching staff at least try Nuge on the wing with McDavid?

I'd also like to see JP and Aberg on the wing with Nuge.

Four rookies on the Rangers defense and a back-up goalie . It could be interesting.

Let's go Oil. hope it's an entertaining game.
