Sounds like there's a good gathering of Oiler fans at the Dome tonight. Keep it loud ladies and gents!!

Love when JP pots it!!!

I want to say maybe Calgary is what the doctor ordered for the ship to be righted...

Patty!!! 2-0!!

I was tough on Russell after the own goal. It was a bad panicky play and in the moment I wanted blood.
In hindsight, he actually had a good game, maybe his best in an Oiler jersey.
Tonight he got a block on the PK, the kind I like, sold out to take away a decent chance. Then he took out Johnny Hockey.

Am I becoming a fan?

I certainly am, that guy works his ass off. And puts his body on the line each and every game.

I’ll second that about his game against Toronto, was probably his best as an Oiler. Unfortunate for the own goal.

How to be a Russell fan: Just pretend you are unaware he makes 4 mill with a no trade clause and he's easy to like. Or pretend it's 1998 and there's no salary cap.

JP with the goals, hardly anything to grumble about (except the goal against). A good enough reason to be enjoying the early morning. More of the same through 2 and 3 please.

Kill off a handful of penalty minutes, give up a shortie.
Score first
Lose a goal on a review, come back and score right away instead of folding up

This is the twilight zone.

A shorty for us? The twilight zone continues.
I would be pissed if I was Kassian. I dont know what Brodie was thinking there. I am sure his intention was blocking the pass but what a ridiculous thing to do.

Should be 6-1.

Calgary is playing a terrible game, let’s keep the pedal on the metal.

Also, I find Cassie Campbell incredibly difficult to listen to

Did you hear her cuss when discussing Benning taking a hit to make a play? Just don't question equality or the PC police might knock at your door...

Lucic with a Ryan Smyth-esque goal in the waning seconds of a period? I don't know about twighlight zone, but the Flames are pulling an Oiler for us and busting some slumps!

Brossoit lost his confidence this period. This isn’t good, last two goals all on him.

Was playing a solid game until.

I will admit I am concerned.
That last goal was the classic LB turtle shrug I mentioned last game.

And as I type this Johnny scores. Oh boy...

My bad guys. I was at our work Christmas party, and seeing that it was 6-1 we cut it short and came home to watch.

I turned it off now. Hopefully it's not too late.

After they scored the third goal, felt we needed a time out to clear the heads and bring us back in focus. We got the 6th goal and switched off, felt we'd won the game. They got a lucky goal and that was the start of it.
