Larsson is out too? Uh oh

...And there's our pk doing work again. Sketchy call once again ends up in the back of our net.

The Oilers should just concede a goal every time they take a penalty. Honestly, our PK is so bad that they could use the extra time to get back into the game.

I'm done with this game already.

Call a time out, do something before this gets out of hand. 2-zip already. It's like an NHL team vs. the farm club out there.

Was pretty worried about 97 there.

That’s automatic 2000 cuts right there.

Actually that’s not even cuts. That’s instantly vaporized.

Yeesh, even Nuge turning it over to gift them a 2 on 0. He owes Brossoit a beer for saving that one.

Not sure how much more of this I can watch. Simply embarrassing.

Would actually be 4-0 if it wasn't for LB right now. I see a mercy pull in his near future though . This is going to get ugly.

Has the team been ready for the start of a game yet this year? Only exaggerating slightly as I am sure they have had a good first ten mins a couple times but my god they look bad more often than not.

When Peter Chiarelli is fired, Kevin Lowe will be involved in finding a replacement. Fire them all. Bring us REAL change.

Good game for Lucic Maroon Kassian to send a message to the rest of the league here. No chance of winning anyways.

I think Katz doesn't want this game to be seen. Notice how it cut out when the Oilers looked really really bad?

I ever single player, coach, GM, owner, usher, scout, etc employed by the Oilers should be embarrassed right now.
Goal aside there is nothing I can find positive from that period.

ETA. At one point LB made 2 great saves back to back, so there is that as well!

The ones that didn't go in are just hitting LB, he doesn't look like he knows where the puck is half the time.

He's the furthest thing from the problem tonight. Next to a couple guys on the 4th line he's been the best Oiler through the 1st period.

Outside of starfish time that play in the corner wasthe Russellest Russel play Russell has made this year .

Then Remenda goes on and on about how he doesnt know how anyone can not like Russell after he tackles someone in front of the net to save his own back side.

What a joke.

I know we've all heard this excuse a million times, but seriously, we just look like a poorly coached team. Teams just so easily predict what all of our players will do, and we are never ahead of anything any other team does. Special teams take that to the extreme, it's so easy to see.

Ah, nothing like a PP to kill any momentum we may have generated. Should've stuck the 4th line out there. Couldn't have done any worse than our PP units.

Yeah, despite my reservations due to how poopy we were playing I did the same. Glad I did!

edit: And another pk...bugger. Oh well, 4-3 is better than 3-1 going into the 3rd.
