Bachman?!?

I had to look it up as I couldnt believe the guy who had a cup of coffee in Edmonton was back in the league.

"My wife told me Edmonton was going to win the pick that day," said Gretzky. "That was the day that I retired 16 years ago. So, she said, for whatever reason, the Oilers have good luck today. Connor McDavid went to Edmonton."

He did have an epic 50+ save game over the Kings in his short Oilers career. A shining diamond in the turd sandwich that was the Oilers at the time.

I remember that one clearly. In fact, it's likely the only reason I remember him playing for the team.

I think we established last Sunday that 1-0 leads are fragile in the 3rd. Please score.

4am, and I so wish this was not a game where I am expanding to much energy worrying about the score than trying to stay awake.

This is such a BS hockey game. Too many guys on cruise control right now...

Nice penalty Ebs. Vancouver should be up by at least a couple, considering the pressure they've had on the Oil in the third. Not even on the same continent of being good enough at the moment.

Maybe I'm seeing things, but it looked like Drai made a great cross-ice pass to Testudo for that goal. icon_eek

P.S.: I have been drinking.

Even more nervous now, I'm on a hat trick in the score prediction game... Let's keep this going for the next couple of minutes.

I'm just sensing that the team is getting nervous down the stretch which is understandable after so long.
