Just keep on truckin' boys.

Won 6 of 7 and 7 of 9. A big win here and they pull ahead of the Jets and are right behind the Habs.

This season is going to be a roller coaster of emotions.......Oh right, that's every year. Boys can do it. Need some Musty tending if it's going to happen against the Jets.

Where does this one rate, I'm guessing category 4?

If the goaltending matches Wpg for competence, the Oilers win. I'm looking for Connor to have a nice night, and LD to be rested.

There’s a significant amount of Must attached to this one. I’d put it at a 4.4, worked its way up from Banff.

Banff settled in at 3.9, but nothing rocks the world like a Jesse snipe.

His forecheck this year has been awesome, so we have to balance out the benefit of having the longer stick in that respect. Shortening the length will change his range, his balance and his natural instincts. It might help his release on close-in shots in the O zone though, for sure. Having switched sticks in the beer league move from D to LW, I whiffed constantly for half the season. And judging by our levels of patience here at Oilfans, any negative plays the kid makes will get his future "discussed".

Re: the goaltending scenario here, just read this article on SI: https://www.si.com/hockey/news/goalies-gone-bad-10-nhl-netmi nders-who-could-use-a-do-over

What stood out to me was: "The Oilers netminder has faced 420 shots, which isn't as groovy as it sounds when you realize that it's over 100 shots more than the league's second-busiest goalie."

Getting shelled every night might not be the way to build up a goalie's confidence.

When Adam Oates used to come on Gregor's show he talked about sticks and how a lot of young players have way too long of a stick and how much of a difference it can make. If he did tweak his length, it could help a lot.

He told Teddy Purcell to cut his stick and I guess it did help him for a bit. He didn’t last in the league for much longer but I think that was due to his James Neal-like speed.

When's the last time we could say that!
Plus;
Broberg coming
Samaroukov coming strong!
Kesserling, 6'-5", and trending up
Neimelainen, 6'-6", and trending up with Condors
Lennstrom, good wheels, doing OK in Bakersfield
