Why was Jones not playing anyway? Are shot blocks that important?

I swear, if the Oilers could put a piece of plywood over that quadrant of the net, Koski would win the Vezina every year.

Sluggish start from the Oilers, they seem to be skating through mud. Koski may not have been able to see much of that shot, but had he had his glove hand a couple of inches higher he'd have that goal.

I love how Yamo forechecks. Helped cause that turnover.

Glad to see the team has picked things up a bit. I was getting a bit worried in that first ten.

AA with a good chance, hopefully he pots one soon or his momentum will turn to frustration

From Oilers twitter;
#Oilers d-man Adam Larsson will not dress tonight (unfit to play). Caleb Jones will draw into the lineup

I really don't love seeing Russell as a top-pairing guy. It's a big downgrade, even with Larsson not playing his best.

I think the fact it was done 6 feet away from the onlooking official sealed it.

Do I expect it to happen the other way? Not optimistic.

I am not convinced there is any bias in game. Behind the scenes at NHL corp? Sure seems like they are a little too excited to rule against them in every situation.

Bear, Nurse, and Drai trying to kill off a two man advantage is ballsy. They damn near did it though.

Kicking motion?

I hate the Hawks goal song so much... just garbage.

The officiating is so roughly as good as that stupid song.

With the way the refs were calling the game I was half expecting them to go watch the video and call the goal back for kicking. Yammo and Russell made it easy for the refs, don't get me wrong but they were soft calls in a play off game.

Time to regroup and come out once more in the second and battle back.

I can’t be alone in this... Bieksa is terrible, everything about him on the panel. Woof.

My wife made 4 or 5 negative comments about him in that one segment alone. He is awful

I love Yams but that was so dirty.

Extra weird that there isn't a crowd yelling their displeasure right after that.
