Important game. The year Ryan Smyth retired he announced it right before the last game of the season. Oilers won and those two points put us out of the spot that won the Ekblad draft lottery. Drai 50th and 3 or 4 McPoints but please lose.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

I hope someone announces their retirement this year.

Please do not feed the bears. Feeding the bears creates a dependent population unable to survive on their own. Bears.

Goals for this game:

1. Get Leon Draisaitl his 50th goal.
2. Get him the Rocket Richard Trophy (even if a tie).
3. Don't let that puke Gaudreau reach 100 points.
4. Maybe win?

Worth noting, I'd have said shoot for Art Ross, but McDavid needs a 12-point night to make it happen...

Nuge getting 30 goals and 70 pts would be nice too

Kucherov has had an unreal year, but using the logic of Hart Trophy winners, plays on too good of a team to win.

Well, Rangers won (on a Strome OT winner no less), and no goals for OV tonight. So a 4-3 loss with a Draisaitl hat trick sound good.

Fak - why do I even care any more? Such a garbage organization

I’d rather win, hate the Flames, their fans. An extra 1.0% chance if winning the draft lottery doesn’t matter to me.

Yeah, I was going to be okay with a loss and the higher draft odds, but something about seeing Gaudreau on 98 points just makes me want to see them stopped.

Go Oilers. Show some pride and win tonight.

And get Draisaitl the Rocket Richard Trophy! Ovechkin shut out tonight, so two goals ties him...a hat trick and Draisaitl is in sole possession of the trophy.

Just saying, we leapfrogged the Rangers with that last win...

Hawks won down the stretch. Just saying. It’s a lottery.

We will get a great kid at 8.

Calgary is good but they really don't have much to show up for in this one other than beating the Oilers. I suppose not winning this would be best for the draft lottery? but it's hard to want them to lose when it's the Flames. Hope they go out on a high.
