Need to win this one. They have their best goalie playing. I would expect that Jones gets in over Garrison.

After their debacle in Calgary a couple of nights ago I expect the best Philly game of the season. GO Koski!

2 points tonight moves the Oilers into 2nd in the Pacific Playing their game in hand on ANA and SJ tonight, that makes this a huge must win. Philly is beatable. Play smart, and bury the chances.

Only issue is the 3 games in 4 nights. With Hitch at the helm he will have the boys in lock down mode and hopefully this gets the Oil a W. If they can take advantage of Philly's goaltending we may be able to keep the point streak going. Go Oil!!

Need to get some more depth scoring tonight to win...Poolparty, Cagulia, Jones?? Lets go boys.

Philly still has a killer 1st line. Need another huge game from Nurse/Larsson to survive this one. Likely another ~30 min night for those guys, on their 3rd game in 4 nights having to do it.

This is a soft part of the schedule, Philly, Canucks, Blues. Damn annoying that we lose 2 of our top 4 D just in time for it. Turns every one of these games into a tough one to battle through for the D.

Or, fortunate that we didn't lose those players during the games where it could go either way I suppose.

This squad can beat those teams I believe.

It's hard to disagree that he has the ideal male body.

hehe yeah, true. If you had to pick a time to have your roster downgraded, I suppose it would be now if you believed you had a team able to compete with anyone, which we have been able to do under Hitch so far.

The Oilers need a good night from Koskinen which I think they will get as he has been really good and fantastic at home. They need another good game from Larsson and Nurse. While not perfect, I didn't think Gravel- Benning was that bad. The Jets are stacked and they held their own not too bad. Unlucky break on one goal that goes off Gravel's skate and in. Can't fault him for that one. This would be a great time for guys like Rieder to chip in a goal. Given that Garrison played 9 mins, I would guess Jones gets in.

Just read from Jack Michaels. Sounds like the defense pairings will be.

Nurse - Larson
Gravel - Jones
Garrison - Benning.

Pretty obvious that Hitch doesn't think Benning can handle top 4 mins at all and he is not a fan of Wideman. Jones and Gravel were a pairing in Bakersfield and Jones has played the right side the whole season down there and done really well. Fingers crossed.

Trial by fire for Jones. Guess he has been doing well in the AHL playing the right side so it's not totally out of left field to put him there.
