Someone needs to run over Holtby. They ain't winning this hockey game.

This team needs a good line brawl.

A turning point on their season.

The compete level on his team is disappointing. It's like they need something to rally around. Hall getting up and flattening Holtby could be such thing.

Perhaps Eakins needs to wobble the glass between benches.

Can't see it.

Maybe he will sprint up and down all the stairs in Verizon.

Has Eakins ever shown any emotions on the bench? He's like a freaking robot...

I actually prefer when coaches don't lose their @#$% every time a goal is scored against. It makes it way more effective when they do blow their top. If they go off like Mt. St. Helens every time the other team scores or a call goes against you, they become the boy who cried wolf.

Save the emotional explosions for when it really matters.

Nobody suggested he go ballistic regularly, but that perhaps it is time someone shown some emotion, like they cared.

I love watching and listening to Junior A coaches when things start to go bad. Some of them seem to have exactly one tool in the toolbox, shorten the bench and yell at tired 18 year olds. Speaking of, I might road trip to Drayton Valley for a Thunder game Friday. Or sit through the Esks game. It'll basically be the same thing.

WAC's and GAB's. WAC's and GAB's.

I wish Hall would have showed some emotion after being knocked over by Holtby.

I've tried very hard to not like Will Acton and it's just not happening for me.

Time for Acton to buy a 2nd house now. Some place nice for the holidays.

..talk is cheap
..success is coming
..the game that we present and stage for the fans most nights is one of very, very high entertainment
..limitless potential
..good structural improvement

Eakins: I know EXACTLY what we need to do next year...

He was a 4th liner in the AHL.

Then I'll just regress, because I feel I've made myself perfectly redundant.

He's a teacher's pet?

That would certainly be the optics.

The fact a 4th line AHL'er schlub isn't looking out of place here isn't as troubling to me as it should be I guess.
