What was more surprising...?
McLeod making a rare visit to the front of the net?
or
Benson getting his first point of the YEAR?
or
McLeod actually putting that pass past the goalie as opposed to the middle of his chest?

That pass was a beaut.

He’s not an NHL starter. The twit that signed him is a loser. The people that allowed the twit to sign him are bigger losers.

He’s not an NHL starter. Figure out the difference.

There needs to be a documentary on how that contract got signed. You know those egomaniacs had cameras around to capture their “brilliance”.

Can't get my son to stop saying the OIlers suck

Bummer

How many generations of fans has this team lost so far? 2? 3?

Old farts that can properly remember this team doing something good are getting into at least their 70's now.

Nah this team was pretty good in the late-Sather CuJo years and I remember the glory years, vaguely. Oh and we got to watch two good months in 2006, which was only 15 years ago. Shoot 16 now. My does time fly.

Underdog stuff is nice. Enjoying the small victories and runs of crazy luck that fizzle out. Nothing about the current team reflects that underdog attitude though.

How about an actual good team? Been forever.

McDavid and/or Draisaitl, this season.

This stupid link was Antonio Brown quitting on his team and leaving. But it’s not working, like Koskinen’s pads.

Foegele with a great play after Drai commits a horribly bad turnover.

Oilers are playing like a tired road team all game but it is getting worse in the third. Lazy plays, lack of focus and seem very easily frustrated.

The refs have been fine today. They have been most games this year.
Even if I agree for the sake of discussion that they are a negative for the Oilers, they are roughly 17th on the list of reasons they are free falling.

This team doesn't know how to hit the net. They get to fancy. Players just automatically give McDavid or Drai the puck even when they are in aweful positions to recieve it. The bad bounces are totally against us. Our goaltending has been below average as well as letting in at least one horrible goal a game. The refs have been blind. Our coaching has been aweful. Passing is always behind the player and when it's on the tape they fumble the puck. This game and most recentlly played have demonstrated all and I'm sure many more that ive missed. Time to start looking at next year's draft if something doesn't change. Also we can't beat the Leafs when we are playing well so don't expect this to end soon. That's my rant. Aaarg.
