Anyone else catch the death glare he gave the Chi bench after finishing his bench skate by? The guy has the intensity of serial killer at times.

Did Leon chirp the Hawks bench after that goal? Perhaps they chirped him?

Some dialogue there. Heh.

Good times creeping in...

So many dumb penalties. Archie not making good use of his top line gift.

Ya, I get that bringing some extra toughness and intensity can be tough line to walk, especially for a smaller guy, but those last two were just plain dumb.

Yamo was lucky he isnt ten pounds heavier as that is a bit of force away from being a major. Archie is just as unnecessary, no need to throw that his and an inch or two away from a headshot.

Archibald creams a guy by the blue line when the puck is pretty much in the corner.

No Cups

Not sure why the team thinks spending most of the second period on the PK is a great idea...

That's two for Archie and two for Yamo. I hope Tippett kicks a garbage can in the intermission. Just total nonsense.

Not sure if Koski has a legit equipment issue or not but that is a great time to get fixed up. Give the PP1 a full breather, longer than a time out.

McDavid has had a pretty long breather aside from that though with the way his team has been playing less disciplined than my 4 and 2 year olds during 2 months of house arrest from covid.

Couldn't complain about the Yamamoto hit from behind or the Archibald interference, but that Athanasiou call is incredibly weak.

Dach's leg catches Ennis's, twists his right foot backwards, looked super ugly on the replay, poor guy, I think he's done for the playoffs.

AA gets the call up, automatically looks awkward as heck... I think Nygard draws in for next game.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind seeing Haas draw in beside Shea and Kass. Gives a righty option for draws and he can step in on the PK

Worried about AA getting more ice time now. Apparently if he just states into another hawk player with the puck he gets an automatic penalty.

I've liked the Neal/Khaira/Chiasson line. My preference is definitely to keep them together. It's nice to have fourth liners who can move up though, and scratches who can step in without being a complete embarrassment.

You're thinking AA moves up.. I'm thinking he stays where he is and Nygard draws in for Ennis on LD/Yamo line. We'll see how AA does in the 3rd..

Exactly what I’m thinking. Or Neal (skating worries me) up and PRuss in.

I've liked the Neal/Khaira/Chiasson line. My preference is definitely to keep them together. It's nice to have fourth liners who can move up though, and scratches who can step in without being a complete embarrassment.

Think the ‘easy’ call is AA up and Haas with Shea/Kass for aforementioned reasons.

Any word on Ennis?

Small pet peeve - I wish they would stop calling that the fourth line. They're not being used like a fourth line, but a third one. The Sheahan line has clearly been the fourth line all series.

If the oilers get a late 5-3 no one is allowed to complain about league wide anti-Oiler bias.

(I’m watching on a delay, the period might already be over).

Who needs a 5 on 3 when they can just score a late period goal? Beauty.

That was a thing of beauty. To draw the puck away from Crawford’s pad and go top chedd? Drool.

No Cups

With all the penalties, the Koski break and then the injury to Ennis that period was one long period.. That final PP with the goal was just what the doctor ordered, we killed off a load of penalties against us, come back twice and then sneak into the lead at the end of the period, that's going to deflate the Hawks somewhat. Grab a quick goal after the restart and that could prove to be a (Chelsea) dagger through the heart of Chicago.

Works for me! Hopefully, Ennis’ injury isn’t as bad as it looked...
