I'm kind of surprised how the Knights played when the game was in hand. Yelling at Kane, trash talking, pushing, fighting him, are all things that he absolutely loves and gets him going.
Hopefully the boys come out fired up.
Hey Nuge, going into game 9. Be cool if you showed up tonight. 5 out of your 6 assists have come on their record setting PP. So being the first touch then watching McD and Leon fly around and score doesn't exactly mean you are doing anything. Oilers need Nuge to step up.

Yeah seems as if Nuge's best performances at ES came when centering a line with Janmark and Kostin....not too shabby when playing with Mcdavid or Draisaitl at ES too. Get in the game....
All momentum is on the Oilers side but let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's 0-0 in game 3 of a tie series so take it one shift/period/game at a time

After playing the Kings for 2 weeks, I thought after game 1, it was just a case of the Oilers not used to playing a team that actually forechecks. So it took them a little bit to adjust. I don't expect the Oilers to crush the Knights every game but I thought if the Oilers played well, they would win. I am hoping that game 2 wasn't a 1 off and they continue what they did in game 2.

Just play like we did in game two. I've been saying all along that when we play the way we can, then very few teams in the league can hang with us (those being the Bruins & Avalanche) Both those teams are gone now, so if we keep playing like that, then I don't see any reason why we can't go all the way.
