Looks like that PP goal turned off the part of the Oil's brains that enabled them to know how to defend their zone properly. Way too much room given to the Flames who scored those goals. Hopefully these quick strikes have given them a good hard kick in the ass.

Now that I think of it, the Oilers rollercoaster goaltending might be the Oilers’ biggest advantage in this series. The Flames start thinking, with good reason, they can score from anywhere so they taking as many low percentage shots as they can find. Suddenly Smith is looking and feeling like an all-world tender for a couple games. That’s how the magic is made. It’s pure drunken mastery.
