I met Wayne once here in Vancouver.. great guy.. somebody brought him in to our beer league as a spare once.. the guy didn't tell anybody who he was bringing.. just some guy.. once he got on the ice I think he felt a little embarrassed to be there.. he was way too good.. so he just tried to set guys up all game.. most vivid memory is him going off for a line change and he decides to wrist a shot in on goal from center ice.. turns to the bench to change.. top shelf.. goalie didn't even move.. everyone looking at each other like ..

I heard reported, those 2 were in contact jersey even in the morning skate. If the team is worried about anyone touching them in just a morning skate, they must be a ways away. I haven't watched a morning skate but I don't think they do any sort of drills that would even involve a lot of contact.

Ditto. Was reported they did some rigorous skating post practice. So trying to get/stay in game shape for when they’re cleared.

No. I guess it was the Macoun hit. The Jets did get past the Flames but Hawerchuk couldn't play vs the OILERS.

All the BS that lead to the Flames advancing last season was a blessing in disguise - they though they are at team that is 15 seconds away from pretty much beating the team that represented the West.

I woke up this morning and even a daft layperson like me can tell that levels are up. Didn't have to hit up Oscargasm. I checked all my climate information sources (there are a tonne of sources, maybe megatonnes, get it? Bwah ha ha). All the sources say that OM (Oilers Must) GHG emissions are off the charts in an alarming amount of must, the heat in Edmonton is like quadruple the heat everywhere else, even the Arctic and all those countless other places that are only double the warming heat of everywhere else!
