Ugh.

Maybe they didn't realize it was a must-win?

Main threat right now to make the playoffs is Winnipeg. They're in 9th, 4 points back and have played 1 more game than us. Hopefully Washington takes them down tomorrow and we can take care of business Saturday.

Even though we came back yesterday, getting up at 3am/3.30am to watch these two games hasn't been joyous at all. MAF being on fire early on set the precedent for the game as a whole as we slowly fell away. Even with the surge at 3-0, we didn't look remotely like we were going to score.

Time to regroup, give themselves a little rest over the next 48 hours and go again at the weekend.

Hopefully Kass can come back and give this team a bit of a boost somehow. Be it adding a little to the second line where Chaisson hasn't or helping cover for the loss of AA.

Whilst being big games to lose, hopefully these are blips in the battle to the post season.

If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.

Chose to sleep this one out - seems like a good decision...good news is we are still in a playoff spot for at the very least a few more games, but we can't afford an extended skid.

Between the start of the second period in the Ducks game and the end of the first last night, the Oilers played a complete game. The other three periods, confused2

I didn't have much faith the Oilers could win this one given how solid Vegas has been playing for awhile now and how up and down we have been with all the missing players. Hope the team can get healthy again and stay that way. Too many players playing above where they fit in the line up on a good team and the constant turn overs are a game killer. You only get so many goalie steals in the course of a season.

Team could’ve used a Jesse Puljujarvi or Taylor Hall last night.

Only thing more annoying than this loss is Sportsnet trying to sneak Remenda back into the fold on us. Wasn't it suppose to be Louie again 95% of the time unless he had to call a HNIC game? Lately it's been all Remenda again. BS

Looks like Yams and AA were on the ice today for practice. Most speculating that AA may have been sore from a shot block.

Fingers crossed AA is back next game and Yams is closer than expected.

The fact we haven’t been given any info whatsoever, even after an optional skate in which he participated, gives me hope it was just a stinger and he (Doubles) will be good for Saturday v Jets.

If this team gets Kass, Doubles and Yams back all on Saturday I may just be pants-less all weekend.
