46 shots with 3 to go, wow, we need this level of motivation the rest of the way. Great game, likely best in years, maybe decade plus outside playoffs.

Omg thought it was great, then penalty shot made by Haas. I firmly believe now.

In past years I would per games by this point and skim them. Now I might watch this game again, wow, just wow a great game.

1-2-1, so win the next one, and for our side and it's a .500 record according to Gary.
Which is fine, since H2H isn't the first tiebreaker any longer.

That was fun, destroyed that lot which is always nice. A huge opening couple of minutes which set the tone of the game. We let them lose the heads and that cost them big time.

Now move on to te next game and the rest of the season, put the dislike for them to bed till the end of the season.

They showed a clip of Captain Morgan in the press box, tool is right. His incompetence caused the situation in the first place. Hope he enjoyed his time in Alberta. #cluelessinNY

We need a BOA playoff series. These past 2 games have been great.

Loving Gagner's game the last few - would definitely take him back on a cheap deal.

The effect Yamomoto has on the 2nd line makes me want a legit 1st line winger for McDavid even more. Bottom 6 playing well. Not missing Kris Russell one bit.

So many things happened tonight. I don’t know where to start.

Rittich. Lucic. Gaudreau. Let’s start there.

My favourite is that the announcers SOOOO want to build up Lucic's "presence". They mention any time he's even near a scrum, even though the camera zooms in and you see him desperately avoiding eye contact with everyone. This is exactly what we saw with him against the Kings. He doesn't like doing anything that might endanger his established friendships. Against his old teammates, there's just no chance that he's going to do anything to stoke the fire.

Only thing better is if Hass would have tossed his stick. That would have been on highlight reels until the end of time.

The best thing they could have done is not toss the stick, it denied the Flames any material to rally around, Rittiches stick flip lit a big time fire for the Oil.
Smart move, left the Flames empty handed, on and off the ice.

Of this generation lol, 1990 game 5, Edmonton down 3 1 in series, 3 1 in game, and Messier took over the game, then series and took the cup, but turning point of playoffs was in that game.

Police came into arena to see what was happening it was so loud. That was a game to be at. Wave Towel

GOOD TIMES !

Loved it.

Holy crap man, that Yamo is starting to be an another Ethan Bear as happy-surprise prospect of the year. He's dominating out there. Great hands, quick feet, quick smarts, forchecking demon. Unreal. getting better every game, spark plug on that line. Top 6 NHL caliber, Happy to see.

Loved Gagner going after Giordano, and E. Bear taking Turtle. Turtle figured he'd go after a smaller guy, and one who hadn't fought before, didn't quite work out how he planned. Turtle is a chia-pet headed clown. And how about that 89 laser over Rittich's shoulder to make it 7-4? Pure ecstasy.

Then Talbot trying to spark his team, skates down the length of the ice after Smith, gets rag-dolled, as he deserved for taking head shots on Gagner while Rat-face Giordano had him pinned.

One day that sweetheart Anderson will have to actually scrap with someone to back up his fat mouth, which will be humorous.

McD with two BEAUTY snipes.. he's figuring out he doesn't have to pass it off every time, and has a dagger of a shot.. #otherlevel

I think the kid (Yamamoto) has had a good amount of time in the minors, and some guys excel when playing with other better players at a higher level, they raise their game and tighten things up. That’s what it looks like to me at least. Major boon for the squad if this is the case. Fingers crossed for TB.

1.Yes.. after all .. Johnny is the Hockey 10 / 30%
2.Nope, K. Yamamoto is as good, and going to get better 13 / 39%
3.Johnny Who? 10 / 30%

Small sample size but that kid is getting better every game, and starting to dominate the the offensive end, plus can forecheck like a Tasmanian devil. Wins most puck possessions now, Tippet will start to trust him more and more.

Small sample size but that kid is getting better every game, and starting to dominate the the offensive end, plus can forecheck like a Tasmanian devil. Wins most puck possessions now, Tippet will start to trust him more and more.

Johnny disappears when games are heavy. Kailer adds to the heavy of games.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have thought it a year ago, but that aspect is certainly tipping the scales for me now.

Yamo VS Johnny is the fight we deserve. At this point I wouldnt be surprised if that was a tilt before Lucic bothered himself to get involved.

It’s baffling to me how little Flames fans still understand Lucic’s contract. It doesn’t matter if I’m talking to friends and co-workers they all try justifying the trade and I keep reiterating that just not having Lucic’s contract on the Oilers books is a win regardless.

Head over the CP. Tons of posters calling for Ward to send Lucic down. These morons don't even understand how a NMC works.

It's hard to disagree that he has the ideal male body.
