Hopefully those looking to hang the refs later remember that call. Pretty weak.
Solid veteran move by Bear though, felt the stick and dropped like a JR. Novice skater.

Ensuing PP was not a threat, both teams look sloppy so far.

PAY THAT MAN!

12th of the year for Kass. Nygard’s speed plays a factor again.

Great hustle there by Klef to break that up. Bravo. Made up for his giveaway.

I have learned to just live in the moment when things are going well.

The 4 on 1; I looked down and didnt see how it started but Klef came back like a wrecking ball to break it up.

First goal. Every Star, including the goalie overplaying to McDavid's side left Kassian comically open. He is by far the best 5V5 non McDrai player. I could be wrong but he seems to ONLY play 5 V 5
Second PP/goal; much better, puck movement, player movement and an open net. Very nice goal. That last pass through the legs by Chiasson was pretty

So far I am very happy to be wrong on my Star win prediction.

Kass is on the 2nd PP unit. Doesn’t get much time, but he’s on it.

Klef came back after a misplay on his part. Hustled hard and made up for it.

Hey look! Our 3rd straight PP...

What are you talking about? The second unit comes out for the 3rd minute of every power play.

If you told me this afternoon that the Oilers would have 6 power plays tonight, I would think the Oilers would have at least 2 goals, which the do. Wouldn’t have thought only 1 of those 2 (so far) came on the pp.

So hard to take this league seriously. Ref looking right at a full middle of the stick across Nygard's face. But no call...because game management demands it.

And of course we quickly are called for something right after.

Followed by an elbow to Larsson just prior to the Jones penalty. Brutal.

At least three of the Stars penalties were crap calls. The Oilers are still ahead in getting the benefit in this one.

Ignoring 2 blatant calls against Dallas and calling a phantom one on us I guess is the 3 point swing to even it up. I guess it makes sense now :)
