High glove. Weird.

In fairness to Hall, I've wanted to throw a waterbottle at Eakins all season.

Dear lord, the defensive awareness. Kerfoot in the middle of 5 oilers and not one of them even knows he's there.

Nuge is just never gonna be a truly reliable C in his own end. Forever caught between a guy that was supposed to be purely offensive but didn't quite have the tools to translate in the NHL to be a 1st liner, and a guy that really really wants to be good defensively but just can't stay engaged mentally long enough to fully pull it off.

Its cooled off 4 degrees since the start off the game by my thermometer, -7. Gosh!! This is seasonal. A 'cold night in Edmonton' in my books would be '20 or below.

Yeah I feel ya. Was just pointing out the facts- Like Koskinen’s glove hand sucks and Epstein didn’t kill himself.

This GDT thread didn't help me understand how the game went at all.

Think of your typical Oilers game over the last 13 years.

There, you got it.

I didn't really watch either, but I still feel comfortable just going with that looking at the stats and highlights.

Mmhmm. Outside of the first line, most AHL teams could beat this crew. Same ol.

Weird the building isn’t selling out huh?

Cold weather and an unattractive opponent or a work night. There are a lot of reason why last night didn’t sell. (I don’t know if last night sold out)

Koskinen has black tape on the knob of his stick.

"Rule 10 – Sticks – 10.2 – Goalkeeper's Stick – Must have a knob of white tape or some other protective material approved by the League at the top of the shaft of the stick..."

He's already been slashed a couple of times on that side from late whistles. Leafs will probably wait til they need a breather in the third and call it then.

Beer league goalies know this.

That would be the topper, game decided by a black knob ! 'Chasing The Game " once again at 2 zip but what a shift Neal just had , pasting everything in sight on the fore check trying to get his team going.

I think it’s blue tape, but ya.

Is anyone else still watching this?

I think I'll pass on the 3rd. I think it's time to at the very least trade 2 or 3 guys with Bakersfield, and maybe look at the situation in goal. This had looked pretty stale for a month or better. Night all...
