This is complete and utter horsesht. McDavid, 0 history of anything close to being dirty gets 2 games for basically a hockey play, but perennial dbag cheap shot artist smashes Nurse in the head with his forearm, and they don't even look at it?
Someone needs to shine a light on this. If I'm in the Oilers organization I'm going to the league with both clips, remind them of the history of both players and then ask them for an explanation of 2 games for one guy, and not even a review for the other.

Absolutely. Not even a slap on the wrist fine. Nonsense.
Circumstance behind the Perry ‘play’ was worse too, just had a goal disallowed, in the final minute of the game where you’re trailing 2-1, in a game where the Oilers leapfrog you in the standings should they win in regulation, to a player in a severely vulnerable position and a CLEAR reach to hit his head. You’re darn right it’s horsesht.

I would like to see the NHL come out and back to back show the videos and justify why one is a two game suspension and the other is not.

Just an another example, in a long list, of how the Oilers as a franchise are regarded by NHL Corp., from Bettman, to the disciplinary committee, the video review crews, to the on ice refereeing. Its crystal clear there is a negative bias. The ownership, and management should be going ballistic. If you stay quiet and act like a meek putz, you will keep getting the same treatment, someone needs to raise a crap-storm, shine a light on this farce.
So regarding the rematch with the Ducks, you already know that if Nurse rag dolls Perry he'll get a 5 game suspension because Parros will rule it was "retaliatory" and/or "pre-meditated". Like when in the history of hockey has a fight not been retaliatory.

So I guess you only get suspended if it’s an open ice kind of thing. Nothing for Perry’s hit to the head on Nurse, and nothing on Hathaway for grabbing the backmof Kunin’s head and driving him into the turnbuckle, I mean the boards. Disgusting play. Yeah I get that he was ejected but holy crap. Player safety is legit a joke.

So Hathaway didn't get 2 games for that? Holy Fk. That was one of the dirtiest things I've seen in years, that POS slammed the guys FACE into the top of the bench! Unbelievable.

Now compare that to an incidental contact play with McD where he got TWO! There is a definite anti-Edmonton bias league wide, from NHL management, NHL suspensions, refereeing, to the media. Button and Kypreos are a couple of the the worst.
I'm going to love it when Edmonton squeaks into the playoffs and then McDavid and Co. drops the top seed team, that'd be one big F U to all of 'em!

No hearing, no fine, nadda. Dude drives Kunin’s head into the top of the boards and get off scott/scot/scotch(?) free. It’s unbelieveable.
