I am on the side of fun when it comes to both the Canes and the Knights antics/show.
Who does it hurt? Hockey is a sport that needs every fan to expand, especially in non-traditional markets. I dont think the Canes got this much press or discussion the year they won the cup.
The other end of the spectrum is the old school sit on your hands and watch politely crowd. Once you have experienced both the live entertainment is exponentially better with the former.

Being down 2-1 is not terrible after that first 5 mins or so.
They played much better in the back half of the period. Hopefully that late goal doesnt kill any progress made and they can get it together in the final 40 mins.
Russell was brutal. I have never been a fan but did give credit for some things and was ok with him as the 6th D. I am now at the point where he shouldnt be on the team next season no matter what it takes. He is a direct cause for a goal against almost every game.

Agree.. I thought of him as an NHL d-man, saw a lot of good in his game .. but how does a veteran stay at home D-man decide to go on a high risk excursion when your team is desperate for a win in a super tight game. He's not the only one, Larson has pulled some game killer brain farts lately too. How can you win when they give away games with your D play, and your goal production is limited to 3 guys?

It is so hard to even have hope for the future when you look at the roster and see that Kosk, Russell and Lucic are on on the roster. That doesnt even count scratched in the minors Manning.

I don’t know if it’s a timing thing, where he just goes to his knees too soon, or a that he doesn’t get his hand up quick enough, or that he needs rotator cuff surgery or what. But I fear we’re going to be talking about his contract in the same light we view Lucic’s here soon.
