Hammond just put on waivers now that Anderson is back. Oilers said to be interested via some twitter sources. Not sure about him. He has terrible stats this year in the NHL, but maybe Schwartz can turn him around? He is 29 and has some decent history in the NHL. Might solve the back up problem the rest of the year & give Broissant a little more time to get some games in for next year?

He doesn't have decent history. He caught lightening in a bottle for a few months a couple of years Back. Outside of that he has no stats at any level to back up he is a quality goaltender.

Stay away he's possibly worse than the monster.

I didn't say I thought we should go after him, I said there were some others that thought we should. I agree it was lightning in a bottle. I would stick with Broissant over him IMO. His stats have a decent 2 year span, so it wasn't just the 1 year.
