There is no denying that. That's why if we string together a 3 win streak here after Florida, I still won't be impressed, unless they carry it on, and smash Chicago.

Watching this game is actually making me angrier than watching their losses have. It's because I'm thinking just one thing:

WHERE THE HELL WAS THIS LAST MONTH?!

Same. This is actually the first game I have thought this. 20 plus games in and they now just get it?

Every time is see Bryz on the bench I feel impending doom.

So, I wonder if the Blue Jackets will be going into meltdown mode if this games ends as is or worse like the Panthers did? Maybe tomorrow we'll hear about them firing everyone, including their players, then MacT could swoop in and steal Bobrovsky.

#64 flying again draws another penalty. The 2nd he's drawn tonight with his speed and aggressive play.

Good thing you mentioned Yak, as he just scored to make it 5-0.

I can really see the Jackets going into panic mode after tonight. They're not just getting beaten, they're getting boot-stomped on the curb by Bubba.

I know a lot of people have said this already a number of times but how good was the trade to get Perron. I really like the way he plays and that's 2 goals like that in 2 games. Bad goal to let in but great shot to find that space.

I have loved Perron all year! He is balls to the wall all the time. Don't mind getting in front of the net and doing the hard work. AND you can tell he loves the game!

Perron is seriously the only reason why more of us here haven't called for MacT's head (at least more than we've been calling for KLowe to get out of town). He seriously fleeced the Blues on that trade.

I think the Blues needed to cut his contract tho, so they may have been limited.

Great time for MacT to take advantage of a team shedding salary. Perron is probably our toughest forward to play against, and to boot he chips in lots offensively. He's pretty much all you could ask for in a hockey player. Hard to play against, scores goals, takes lots of shots, and goes to the tough areas.

And wow, Columbus sucks. Unfortunately for Arcobello, he probably doesn't get in the next game with the team on a roll.

Yak must be getting some coaching on the side from Igor. And his chemistry with Hemsky is pretty nice to watch.

haha, Yak is a fun young guy.

Ference looks disinterested in this moment. Can't even lift up his arm.

Maybe he's mentally exhausted after going from a Cup winning/contending team to one that has trouble scoring goals over long stretches and sucks on defense. In other words, he's probably feeling the same way many of the Oil fans do right now.

One of my favourite things about Yak is how he doesn't constantly try to beat gigantic d-men wide like an idiot and get wasted. If he is about to skate into an obviously bad situation, he stops and finds another play. It's good because odds are better that we won't have to see him getting hurt all the time like some other top Oilers.
