Don't get too excited, remember an Oiler lead is the hardest lead in hockey to hold on to.
| Taylor Hall, June 25 2010 | With the five Cups they won it would mean a lot to me to join their organization, hopefully bring another one up there. That is the ultimate goal for me and the franchise

Gagner again! The joys of power plays. Assist should go to Brown for suckering Mayers into that penalty.

Thought the game started at 6. Just started watching for the 4th goal. Have I stepped into a parallel universe?

I wish I had this excuse. The schedule in my head said the game was at 6, as I thought I read that somewhere. I'll have to refresh my schedule more often...

Pffft, Horcoff. What difference can he make? That winning record with him out was an anomaly.

Can we try to show some restraint. Not meaning to crap on Horcoff in any way, but can we least wait until the sample size is bigger than 30 minutes before proclaiming Horcoff as the savior.
Let's see if Horcoff's play last more than a game or two before returning to the player fans wanted to run out of town for years even if meant a buyout at season's end. And if the Oilers agressive play last more than one game.
That said, a very nice game by both Horcoff and the Oilers so far. Funny how things go better when the guys play with some urgency and desire to go to the net.

Well, Chicago came out flat, Edmonton came out better, and they're up 4-0.
This game isn't over, and what I don't want the Oilers to do is go into a shell in the remaining 2 periods. This team can't rope-a-dope and defend a lead. Their best defense is to remain on offence.

Sorry guys, my fault. I wasn't going to watch the game. Was at the in-laws. Figured is check NHL.com to see what the damage was. 4-0 I thought I gotta see this. Turned on the TV, Hawks scored 10 seconds later. And then again. So my bad.
