was a s#!tty goalie for us, but the Oilers are padding his stats tonight with so many long shots. I suppose they're looking for a glorious rebound, or maybe a giveaway behind the net.

Or a trademark "how in the blue Jesus did you let that in?" goal, which Conklin made such a specialty of last season. They know his weakness: everything. Shame he's kicking them out tonight now.

Sykora pots a PP marker from a sharp angle as he swoops in to Conklin's left. Smyth and Hemsky pick up the helpers. Good times again.

The most dreaded lead in hockey. Oh well, who cares, we keep playing the way we are, this game is won.
Markennen is absolutly on the ball tonight....which is a great sign. Hopefully if we can extend the lead some more, we can keep rolling out the lines and keep the top guys fresh for tommorow night....Not that I'm looking ahead...just pointing out the strategy.

You know, it's kinda fitting that the Oilers are doing this auction with the Heart & Stroke Foundation, because they are gonna need all the funds they can raise to help all the Oilers fans getting heart attacks and strokes thanks to all the squandered opportunities and turnovers and just plain losing games they should be winning. faint

Torres strikes again as Stoll takes the hit to send out a pass to Torres, who promptly buries it past Conklin on the stick side. Pisani gets the other helper for his 100th NHL point. Good times.
