Atrocious keeping by Skinner on the second LA goal.

I’ve been head bobbing through the first, and so far have twice been rudely interrupted by a loud horn.

God effing damn it is this annoying. Oilers are going to get spanked tonight.

They've been due for a good rear end whooping. If Woodcroft won't be the one to administer it, maybe some opposing teams need to do it for him.

Bag skate these MFers for the rest of the month, Jay. FFS... this is nonsense hockey.

The entire defense is trash. I can’t believe Bouchard hasn’t been healthy scratched for a game or two yet, and Bustberg looks like he’s on a career farmhand trajectory.

Drives me insane that Woodcroft seems to have this mental block about playing McLellan. That is not a guy who should ever out-coach you, and Woody almost flopped out of the playoffs against him. Tonight watching them double-team guys on the powerplay, and just wondering how that's not the easiest adjustment in the world to exploit.

Our team kinda blows most of the time eh?

McLellan doing just fine in LA now. While Woodcroft is basically what McLellan was when he was on the way out.

Not only blaming coach of course. Roster flaws, management sucks. Barely anything redeeming right now. Just gotta ride that McDrai and pray in the playoffs again for favorable matchups and facing imploding goalies.

First time in a while I've been able to get up and watch and I'm not sure that I should have. Hopefully we can kill this third powerplay off and build on the scruffy goal from Yammo.

With the special teams having to be used on regular basis, I don't think we've had the starting lines out since the opening few minutes of the game. Not saying we will be any better, but it may give us a chance.

Shots 18 - 8 after the first. Awesome effort so far!

I think we're seeing what this team really is. Top to bottom, they are dysfunctional for some very integral reason that seems to be a constant with this leadership core and management / ownership philosophy.

THIS is Oilers hockey, folks. And unfortunately, it's really underwhelming.

Goodnight! This garbage fire is overcooked and is getting a good dousing of reality right now.

If he’s not starfishing on the ice, leaving 20 foot gaps or leaving his man open in front of the net, he’s making dumb decisions that put his team on the PK.

Game over and well deserved loss for the Edmonton Oilers.

Team that was treading water looks like it is starting to look for bottom. Pretty sad.

That's it for this evening, hope they pull off a miracle but I don't see an indication.

On the Kings feed, once they were happy no instigator was going to be called moaned that Jesse's jersey came up too easy and questioned if he should have had a penalty for not having his strap tied down. Knowing the way the NHL and ref's are going, we'll probably find it will be called during the intermission.

The Oilers aren't helping themselves, but good god these refs are not good, I'm not sure how they could have called that goal. Perhaps we need all catching gloves to be white inside so it contrasts the puck easier for them, or stick a sensor in the puck and have a hawkeye system in the goals like they do in soccer.
