They seem to be getting better every game. Not just offensively but seem to be decent behind our blue line as well.
If this continues the odds of making the playoffs will go up significantly.
So far my choice to stay in, avoid the frigid weather, and watch the BOA is a good one.

Add Hanifin and Hamonic to the list of D-men who look like they are standing still in the highlight of the night.
Dang, as I am typing this the Oilers are caught puck watching. Fast fun game so far but I am not feeling confident in a win. Score flatters the Oilers a bit, seems to be more good scoring chances for the Flames in spite of the shots being close.

3rd line was getting owned out there. I don't think I would have picked them to follow up that atrocious 4th line shift near the end of the period. Full momentum against us, we toss out the 3rdies, Flames 1st line comes out, and threats our 3rd line and D line pylons.

Yep, Yamo is playing well, much better than I had figured.. I'm happily surprised! I thought he'd get caved in tight play. but he's got a good stick and quick feet, making some real nice plays, gets the puck out when he gets the chance. unlike too many on the roster.. ... great pass on the 93 goal.

Yeah, can't judge GM's by their ability to fleece Chia. Everyone's done it. It's like thinking a player is an elite NHLer because he can dominate the ECHL.
Shero fleeces Chia and in 4 years builds the embarrassing mess they have today. Nill fleeces Chia and has build middling teams for years with Seguin, waiting for years of magic goaltending. Snow fleeced him, fired, although he did leave some good stuff behind thanks to us. Jets were meh forever after stealing Wheeler.

On the third one specifically Haas stone hands a pass that goes right to the Flames. No one clears the puck or the players from the crease and a rebound gets chipped in. Those happen to the best of goalies.
