Have to put this out there. I was super skeptical of Tippet when the rumours first came out he’d be the Oilers coach. But man I am fully on board with him.

I like that Haas was eager to shoot, but a accurate writer from the point is more effective than a clapper 5 feet wide.

As far as thinking "big, nasty, physical guy like Larsson" that is now a myth as well. I dont know if it is his lingering back issues or what but last year and for the few games this year he has looked soft as butter

I take it back. Larsson made sure he left a bruise or two when taking that penalty.

I was thinking that when I read this in the other thread. He’s back with Oscar and looks more comfortable which (I think) is huge for him.

Ya, I definitely dont think he is terrible and should be traded ASAP. Or even in the offseason unless it is a clear win. I just dont think the selling point on him is any sort or tangible toughness or physicality.
Here is hoping that last year was an anomaly, and he get back to being what he can be, a solid stay at home defenceman who can be trusted against top competition.

This team can't sustain both Nuge and Kass out of the lineup, bad enough without Nuge. Leon trying to do too much tonight, just a turnover machine.

Hope both are back soon otherwise we'll see more of the same as tonight..

I'm up early, hope for a miracle comeback!

Oh cool, you can run directly into a goalie and knock his stick away and get no penalty.

A team that played the night before and currently sits 3rd-last in the league (IN THE LEAGUE) is beating the Oil 4-2 on the road, yet people want to think that they are legitimate contenders for anything other than another lottery pick? Better yet, people here think that Larsson should be traded when the Oil's D is already porous even with him in the line-up? I don't know whether I will choke on rage or laughter before tonight is done.

I think it should still be 4-2, as I don't think that puck completely crossed the line.

I stand corrected.

He doesn't sit in the video review booth, not that they couldn't screw the team either.

It doesn't change my point in either case, really.
